What is a Self Advocate?
Self advocacy is a strong voice for and by people with disabilities. Kamloops Self Advocate group promotes independence, empowerment, leading by example, communicating, networking and encouraging each other.
Kamloops Self Advocate Group
The Kamloops Self Advocate Group is a group of people with developmental disabilities that meet up once a month to discuss issues that are important to them, meet new people and to plan events.
Kamloops Self Advocate Group meets from 1-2 pm, every third Monday of the month at Kamloops Society for Community Living’s conference room. They always welcome new members, ideas and any information that anyone would like to bring forth!
